Package
This article is a medium that sales representatives who newly joined Kato Trade is getting deepen their knowledge of “OEM, ODM” and sharing the information on OEM and ODM with you.
What type of packages often used for OEM?
A package is a bag or box that holds OEM-produced products.
This article explains what kind of packages are often adopted by OEM and ODM.
There are many types of packages, such as polypropylene and vinyl materials such as OPP bags, box types of paper materials, and blister cases such as plastic materials.
We will introduce the packages that are often used in our OEM projects.
Bag type
OPP bag

Many of you may know this.
The OPP (Oriented Polypropylene) bag is made into a transparent film, and has the advantage of being hard to tear and has a wide variety of sizes, so you can choose according to the size of the product.
In many cases of our projects, paper (card) is put in this OPP bag or a sticker is attached for packing.
The displayed contents of this paper and stickers will be printed with the design data provided by the customer, and product information will be described.
In addition, the type that inserts paper is often the type that folds down a little.
Zip type

The zipper type is a type that slides and closes like a zipper, instead of stopping with a seal or adhesive surface like OPP.
Our brands also adopt this type of package, and the design can be printed directly on the bag, resulting in a stylish package.
Box type

Box types like the one in the picture come in a variety of sizes and shapes, and can be customized from the specified size to the size of the product.
As shown in the photo, nothing is printed yet, but you can write a product image, product name, promotional comment, etc. on this surface.
We will also receive design data from our customers and support printing.
